When using Mode A, you can mute or unmute your headset microphone by sliding the mute button up or down (front control). The scroll wheel is used to adjust your music or chat volume. Mode B (on the back of the inline control module) is ideal when your Astro A40 or A10 is connected to your smartphone with a 3.5mm jack. The button below the inline mute button can be used to answer or hang up a call. When using your Astro A10 or A40 to listen to music, the call button can be used to pause or resume your music. Mode B also activates the inline microphone. This line has two modes to switch between, Mode A uses the microphone on the headset and Mode B uses the microphone on the cable.
