Dr Amjad Hussain presents a concise introduction to what Muslims believe in and practice, and also why they continue to do so in the twenty-first century.

The work is divided into three parts: an introduction to Islamic creed and theology, including discussions of the schools of the Ash''ariyya and the Maturidiyya; the articles of faith and theology; and the future of Islamic theology.
