Three antique loom types Small hand weaving tools for the home

Description:

This very practical tool helps to speed up the repair of holes in clothes or worn areas.

The darning consists of two parts: a wooden disc and a metal disc. There is a groove on the side of the wooden disc, so you can use an elastic band to attach it to the disc.

Pull your thread through the upper hook chain to turn the metal hook one way or the other. This changes the height of the warp/vertical thread, allowing you to quickly and accurately stitch up and down.

This design has 10 hooks to help you make tightly woven darning with embroidery thread or similar. It is very suitable for darning cotton, silk or linen fabrics, such as: cotton dresses, linen trousers, silk vests or light denim.
