Features: high definition, high transparency, easy to use
Purpose: Adjust the azimuth of the LP vinyl phonograph and the VTA balance of the tonearm
Usage:
Adjusting the azimuth: move to the center of the record, lower the arm and let the needle fall onto the record. Place the adjustment ruler in front to see if it is aligned with the vertical line in the center of the grid, and if the outer contour of the cartridge is aligned with the grid line (for cartridges with irregular contours, it is estimated if it is aligned with the grid line, and the proportion is even)
How to use the VTA balance of the tonearm:
Move to the center of the record, lower the arm and let the needle fall onto the record. Place the adjustment ruler on the side of the arm to see if the arm is parallel to the horizontal line on the adjustment ruler. If not, adjust the VTA (i.e. adjust the height of the arm)
