Bewood Unique Case - Wood & Resin
Unique of its kind - a few words about the production process:
A selected piece of burled wood is placed in a special container and then filled with colored resin. The colors are either combined in advance or only after casting, depending on the desired effect. The liquid penetrates all cracks in the burl, creating patterns – unique, sometimes mysterious, and evoking various associations. Such a shaped piece must be properly cared for to eliminate the risk of air bubbles. After some time, when the resin hardens and the entire form achieves its final, compact, and hardened structure, the next step can begin, which is mechanical processing of the wood and laser cutting. Subsequently, an environmentally friendly oil layer is applied to the carefully sanded surface of the wood with resin. After a few hours, the wood absorbs most of the oil, and any excess is wiped away with a cloth. The final step is polishing – gently, to achieve an elegant, satin-like finish on the case.
Each case is produced individually. This guarantees the complete uniqueness of the product.
