Welcome to our store! The AD8495 is an easy-to-use K-type thermocouple amplifier. It converts the small voltage generated by the thermocouple junction into a signal that can be easily read by an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) or microcontroller. The gain from the thermocouple to the amplifier output is approximately 5 mV/°C. The AD8495 uses a built-in temperature sensor for cold junction compensation, allowing it to measure over a wide ambient temperature range. It also features a precision instrumentation amplifier with high common-mode rejection performance to suppress common-mode noise that long-wire thermocouples can pick up. The amplifier's high-impedance input terminal makes it easy to add additional filtering for extra protection. The AD8495 supports a wide supply voltage range. Under a single 5V power supply, it can cover almost 1,000 ℃ temperature range for a thermocouple. Under a 3V power supply, it can be directly connected to a low supply voltage ADC interface. It can also be powered by up to ±18V power supply, making it suitable for industrial systems that require a wide common-mode input range. Regardless of the power supply, the AD8495 can easily measure negative temperature.
