When should the lint strip be replaced?
Based on the Dyson cleaning head, there is a soft felt/plush strip that prevents the head from scratching surfaces. When this strip is completely worn out, it will affect the performance of your vacuum cleaner and damage surfaces such as wooden floors:
1.This replacement strip is made of premium high-density soft material; it is normal to feel some resistance initially when it is new.
2.After being used for a while, the soft plush strip will have worn down considerably, and it will become smooth and easy to move when vacuuming and picking up dust and debris more efficiently.
3.When the strip is overused or completely worn out, it becomes flat and cracks, which will affect the performance of your vacuum cleaner and also start to scratch and damage surfaces.
