Step 1: Remove the red cap at the end of the probe and turn on the tester. Step 2: Insert the probes into the soil 3-5 inches Step 3: Adjust the position of the probes until the tester is fixed in the soil to be tested. Step 4: Read the data for moisture/pH/light level/temperature on the display for about 10 seconds. Press the switch on the back to the pH or °C position as needed. Step 5: Remove the probes from the soil and wipe them after each use. Note: Do NOT put the item in liquid to test.
