Two-wire pull chain switch, activates ceiling lights by gently pulling the beaded chain, compatible with most ceiling fans or fan lights.
Wiring steps for ceiling fans: 1. Make sure the existing light switch has 2 wires. If there are 3 wires, a 3-wire switch is required. 2. Cut the two wires from the existing light switch with wire strippers. 3. Strip black wires about 1/2 inch.
Wiring steps for ceiling fans: 4. Connect one black wire from the light switch to one black wire from the ceiling fan. 5. Connect the other black wire from the light switch to the other black wire from the ceiling fan.
Wiring steps for ceiling fans: 6. Secure the connection between the wires using wire connectors by twisting them clockwise. 7. The connection of wires must be secured, otherwise it may lead to fire hazard, electric shock or serious injury.
